Studio "Auskim" is a handmade textile studio located in the very heart of Vilnius' Old Town, at Žydų g. 2-9. We have known you since 1963, when we started weaving the first carpets, tapestries and interior textile items. For more than six decades, the studio has remained faithful to traditional weaving techniques, combining them with modern interior design. The space located at Žydų g. 2-9 is open to visitors - here you can watch how each handmade fabric is born, chat with weavers and learn more about this craft.

Courses and exhibitions in Vilnius

The studio also organizes weaving courses for both beginners and experienced weavers. During the classes, you will learn basic weaving techniques, get acquainted with different fibers and create your first handmade item under the supervision of professional weavers. In addition to the courses, the studio regularly hosts textile exhibitions - the works of the famous artist Vladas Daškevičius have been exhibited in more than 40 exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad, and the studio actively contributes to the popularization of textile art in the country.
